Founder Alex Parker is a longtime journalist and strategic communications pro who has worked in top newsrooms and corporations for more than 20 years. As a business editor at the Chicago Tribune, his work has been published in the Los Angeles Times, Baltimore Sun, Hartford Courant and more. He covered Cook County politics for the Chicago Current and Chicago Reader, and the 2008 presidential election for MTV News.

As a marketer, he was an early adopter of social media, pioneering social and content marketing programs, and has crafted award-winning programs, working with brands large and small, including Denny's, General Electric, Hershey's, Cold Stone Creamery and more. His corporate communications work includes stints at Molson Coors Beverage Company and Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate giant.

Alex also founded the Green Beer Project, an initiative which teaches people about climate change through beer.
